Deathly Shadows

The DHS, Department of Homeland Security announced that there are 400,000 dead people on our voter rolls.  Which raises the question, who are they going to vote for in the mid-terms?  Has anyone polled them?

And congratulations to Spain's Soccer team winning the World Cup!

But Spain's Striker, Borja Iglesias was deathly worried before the Final Game.  The game for the whole shebang.  Was he worried that his team would lose in front of the whole world?  Was he worried that he would play poorly in front of the whole world?  No!  Borja Iglesias was deathly worried that if his team won, he would come face to face with DJT 45th and 47th POTUS, and Borja did not want to shake hands with DJT.  Borja was convinced that after refusing to shake hands with DJT, he would then go straight to jail.  He would not collect $200 or even get to celebrate the victory.  We're not sure what country Borja thought the Meadowlands was in, Russia maybe, Red China, Iran?  But lucky for Mr. Iglesias when his team won, DJT 45th and 47th POTUS presented the trophy to the team captain, shook the hand of one player who stuck his hand out to be shaken and then exited stage right.  Borja Iglesias was spared.

And the dead are going to lose 100 million dollars, as Treasury Secretary Bessent has announced the end to their payments.  "Cruelty thy name is..."* no longer woman, it's Bessent.

Then there is the peace deal with the IRGC which became the done deal, as in put a fork in it.  What the Mass Hysteria and Cognoscenti Of The Known World don't seem to understand, is the IRGC can't sign a peace deal.  The IRGC is a gang, and all gangsters know, they can't show weakness.  They are dead men, when they do.

Happy 250th Birthday USA

There are always the naysayers.  The people who don't like the United States of America.  The people who point out all the negatives.  But the United States can't help being made up of human beings and human beings have transgressed everywhere they've roamed.  There is nothing unique about that in our 50 States and 5 territories.

But the United States is unique in this world in many things.  The first and foremost, is we weren't formed by some War Lord who managed to subdue, coerce or negotiate with other War Lords to get himself named the King, and the place, a country.  No, the United States of America begins with the stroke of a pen.  'When in the course of human events...'  And it turned out to be one hell of an event.  It changed the course of history.

We were created by ideas and ideals.  They are ingrained in out founding document and all our laws.  We may fall short of those ideas and ideals from time to time, but they are ours.  We created them.  When President Lincoln spoke  about our nation on November 19th 1863 and said.  "that nation of the people, by the people and for the people", we were the only place on the planet, where anyone, could cast a vote.

When you go to work for the government in any capacity, the military, the legislatures, as civil servants, or anyone having anything to do with the workings of government, you take an oath.  And that oath is not to the King, The Queen or whatever Potentate is running the show.  You don't even take an oath to the country or even its people.  You take an oath to preserve, protect and defend, the Constitution, our ideas and ideals.

So when the naysayers whine, cry and bemoan this or that about the good ole U.S. of A, just remember, we invented this thing called Liberty.  It's our way of life.  It was and is, a pathway, for the rest of the human race to follow.
